Dear Bob,
I just cannot thank you enough for all the help you’ve given me
with my dog, Blaze. After going to several different dog trainers, I
finally found someone who made my dog livable and my life calm.
Blaze is a Portuguese Water Dog. He’s a strong, dominant alpha
type. We brought him home at 9 weeks old, and since that day, he’s
been love-biting everyone. We have 2 young boys and an adult
daughter and a busy household. Blaze loves to be in the middle of
everything, barking, biting, kissing and generally “running the
show.” He would constantly bite all the kids – not meanly, but out
of love and playfulness, but still, this was inappropriate and
annoying.
I’d been seeking help from all the professionals with nothing
working. I was told to squirt him with water – he loved it; shake a
can – he lunged at the can; give him “time out” in his crate – he
didn’t even connect the two; yell, “No,” then praise – didn’t work.
Finally, Bob, you taught me how dogs learn and behave so I could be
an “effective teacher.” By using a collar and leash tug associated
with a loud, “No,” I was able to duplicate the mother dog’s bite and
bark. “Voila!” A humbled dog!
I’m still amazed at how fast this worked. That was just one area
you helped me in. The list goes on and on.
I now have a loveable, obedient, 1 year old Portuguese Water Dog
who fits in our family without all the unmanageable behaviors. I am
forever in your debt.
Besides all of this, you’re a great guy and I’m honored that our
paths have crossed.
Thanks again!
Robin
p.s. Do you take on unruly kids?

Bob,
We cannot tell you how impressed we were by your skills and most of
all by your kindness in helping us to train two loving and wonderful
dogs who just needed the proper guidance. They are doing excellent
and now we can all enjoy each other in ways we never would have
without you.
We will be recommending you as often as we can.
Thank you!

Dear Bob,
We have seen a vast improvement in Sasha's behavior since our
sessions with you. The gentle leader is by far a much better way to
control her. She still has issues with other dogs while out
walking, but it's just a matter of redirecting her and continuing on
without giving her much chance to misbehave. Hopefully in time she
will get beyond that, but it's not so much of a problem now. The
advice you gave us to have people ignore her, and do not just pet
her, has worked out very well, and she is starting to accept more
and more people as part of her trusted group of friends. Overall
she seems to be getting happier week by week. We're sure it was a
huge adjustment for her to go from her previous life to ours, but
overall she seems happy and content; she wags her tail more and
more, and just seems happy to curl up in her bed and sleep. She is a
rescue success story so far, and the whole family loves her dearly
and shows her lots of affection and praise. Thank you for your
insight and common sense approach. What was a struggle is now a
matter of routine and precautions. Adjusting our behavior was
easier and got better results than trying to make her do things she
didn't understand.
Thanks again for your expertise and insight.

Hi Bob!
We thought we would include a note to let you know how well Brady is
doing. We are really happy with his progress. We constantly
receive compliments on how well-behaved he is – especially since “he
is just a puppy.”
We recently had a big family reunion and Brady did awesome! He
stayed on his mat, even when people were eating around him – and he
didn’t jump on anyone even in all the excitement to see each new
person arrive!
We rarely use his collar now because he responds so well to his
name, “No” and “Come.” We are having a great time with Brady –
especially in the snow. He loves the snow!
Of course we still have our regressive moments and there are many
skills that we need to practice – but we feel like you have given us
the knowledge and know-how to get to the results we are looking for.
Thank you so much for all of your help! Please feel free to use us
as a reference.

Good morning, Bob!
Just a quick note to let you know that Rocky is a very good
student. He loves to “work.” We are using the word, “work”
(“Rocky, let’s do some work”) when we do the crate and mat
training. We’ve been surprised and delighted at how well he is
doing. It’s even more rewarding to see how happy and proud he is
when he does a good job.
So just want to say, “Thank You,” for all you have done to help us
get Rocky started on the right track.

Hi Bob,
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how awesome
Zena is doing. We have our sweet girl back and even better than
before! We can't thank you enough for all of your help in getting
us back on track. It is amazing what a tune-up can do. I am happy
to report she did awesome with our recent house guest; she was the
life of the party. She was happy and playful. Thank you for
sharing your gift with us.
We so appreciate all you do and how you do it. It's a true gift you
have and we are spreading the word every chance we get!
Take care.
Sincerely,
Bob, Mary, Keith & Zena

Dear Bob,
I wanted to say thank you for all your help with our Weimaraner,
Emilee. Your help has been invaluable. The training techniques
were very easy to learn for us and our puppy in your puppy program.
Emilee responded to all the training amazingly fast. She now is
going on six months and our friends who laughed about us hiring you
are now amazed at the finished results. We can't thank you enough,
it was money well spent! If you ever need a reference, please don't
hesitate to ask.
Thanks again!

Bob,
Thanks so much for all of your help with Sonny. He is really
starting to shape up! He has a special bond with my younger son
(the one he used to attack!)
Thanks again.

Hi Bob,
I want to thank you for your help with Corduroy. He is doing so
much better, and much calmer, too. He hasn’t gone crazy when we
leave or at the fence. I am using the remote trainer only
occasionally. My voice has so much more power, he really made the
association quickly. He wears the collar on “non-interactive” mode
most of the time, so I am feeling quite good.

Hey Bob!
I wanted to thank you for coming over last night. Because of what
you told me I had my first peaceful night’s sleep in weeks. You
have no idea how scared I was that I would hear, “Maybe you need to
find a new home for one of them.” What a load off my mind now!!!
The “girls” and I have started anew. They’re not up on any
furniture anymore. I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure that we
can ALL live together peacefully.
Again, thanks for your training last night. It was much
appreciated. I’m sure I’ll be in touch again. After we learn how
to behave and live together in peace, I would love to work on some
other issues. Maybe a few commands? I want to impress everyone
with my dogs and their new found manners/knowledge!!

Hi Bob,
I am writing you to let you know that I recommend you to anyone and
everyone I know that is having issues with their dogs – because you
helped us tremendously in many, many ways. My vet recommends you
based on my comments. My vet is Beth, who works at Delaware Valley
Animal Hospital.
Once again, thanks for your help.

Dear Bob,
Many thanks for the enjoyable and entertaining afternoon you
provided for the Senior Citizens group at Immaculate Conception
Church in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. It was an extremely interesting
and educational program and demonstration. Your dogs are beautiful,
and so well-behaved.
Thanks again for your time.
